Seven reasons why the iPhone is more computer than phone

Had to be living in a cave for the last ten days of losing the hype iPhone, although it is now replaced by the Batman hype, I thought I'd share my experience with a week or so in.

There have been plenty of articles written on the new 3G iPhone: Walt Mossberg, Gizmodo, Engadget and Cnet, so I'm not going to take a test, but I'll tell you why it is a game changer and why it is more equipment the phone. On the basis of what David Pogue wrote about last week in connection with applications, let's go a little further and talk about their use.

First, if you take a look at any of the above screening, you will notice that the use of the phone comes last. Why? Well, I said, this is more computer than the telephone. This is what you can do with it, and, oh by the way, you can call it that. Recently updated (thankfully, since the initial version was the light of the characteristics) is the application Facebook. Just chat and most of my main features of Facebook, all on the road, a winner. Staying Connected 3

# 7 E mail and calendar
Building on the Mac is already well integrated email and calendar of Leopard, Apple gives MobileMe Over the Air (OTA) synchronization, companies like BlackBerry Enterprise Servers. Now it is true, MobileMe had some problems in the maelstrom of change. Mac and new iPhone release and some users have had problems with OTA sync, but my usage has been great. And I love my calendar, email and contacts to keep abreast on my computer, web and iPhone. OTA Sync 1

I ended up with seven reasons, but the list could go on, mainly due to large applications, taking advantage of the hardware and software that Apple built. It is a game changer in my opinion. Why? Because it is less about the phone and information about the device. Being able to work, play, online, mail, etc. virtually wherever you are is very powerful.
