How to put videos on your iPod Nano Touch Classic?

Most of us watch YouTube videos, enjoy DVD movies, and want to playback these videos on your iPod. Here, the following guide is to demenstrate how to put videos on iPod Nano /Touch/Classic.

Step 1: Convert to iPod Touch Nano Classic supported videos format

However, the video formats supported by iPod, Apple TV, and iPhone are relatively limited compared to the number of formats available on the market. This means that just about any content that you want to view on these devices is going to require some type of conversion process.

To put videos to iPod Nano Touch, please make sure the format is compatible with iPod. If not, give this iSkysoft iPod Movie Converter a try, which can convert all various video formats to iPod MPEG-4 or H.264 formats with great output quality.

a. download iSkysoft iPod Movie Converter, install and run it.
b. go to "convert to" to set the output format.
c. go to "target path" to set the output location.

Step 2: Put Video on iPod Nano/iPod Touch/iPod Classic with iTunes

Obviously, using iTunes to sync files to iPod is the choice of many iPod users.

a. After converting the videos, Open iTunes and click "File" to add the videos you just converted to iTunes library;

b. Plug in your iPod to computer, then iTunes will detect your iPod as a device.
