Ipod Touch 3rd generation: Nice, could make me Get A Mac

3rd Generation iPod touch is exactly as advertised. A great music player, with applications so it is very useful for many other things. Still I'm torn as a whole "this is a computer," says I see out there, is amazingly helpful ... but in the end it is a computer and applications arriving at a certain point (like a computer) are very expensive in relation to the usefulness of this little product.

I still recommend iPod touch 3 third generation to another person. Device is fun and the variety of applications can be customized to what you want ... used music player. Despite of time to search for music on iTunes .... buyer beware .... prices are essentially astronomically high.

The Con one is big for me battery life .... if you use the wifi and / or use regularly (during the day) with applications, is simply too short. Seems OK if used only for music .... but .... not yet. I think I'll be looking at Amazon for a long battery life that you can use and still be portable.

A final comment .... I'm pretty new to the whole iTunes / App Store, but looking graphics on an iPod is a nightmare. It looks good, but it would be nice to have some customization available for display and search.

3rd Generation iPod Touch - Great iPod!

I recently upgraded to this 3rd generation of iPod touch 1st generation Nano. The new iPod touch 3rd generation is amazing! It's fast, holds tons of music and videos, and has organized well. The ability to download and use applications is very nice!

I love be able to make television programs on the road with me, and I saw the album in songs that I play. The battery life on this is pretty solid. There was also a free application that I downloaded tell me approximately how much time I have left on the basis of the current battery level.

Rumors Apple will soon launch a version of the iPod Touch that comes with a camera. I wish mine had a camera ... but probably will not be able to afford to upgrade every time he goes. C'est la vie!

The only drawback I've seen are:

1) The WLAN may be irregular. It is well at home, or in some restaurants, but one way and she does not have consistent Internet. Maybe if I had a 3G phone that could generate a WiFi access point, would be nice.

2) Many of the applications in the Apple store are designed for iPhones. These use the functionality (eg, constant internet or camera) that are not applicable to the iPod, but the App Store does not differentiate between products to buy.
