How do I connect a S-video cable from my laptop to the tv?

I have a Toshiba Vista and I Bought the S- Video cable and I need help connecting it from my laptop to the television.
Where do I change the computer settings to see it on the Tv?

I'm assuming you found the port on the computer graphics card and the TV.

Right click your desktop. Click on "proprties". Click on "settings". You should be able to enable "dual monitor" and adjust your settings. (clone, individual, primary, secondary, etc.)
