IR Illuminator for the digital camera without nightshot?

Will it work as night vision

Night Vision uses two principles. One is thermal IR imaging is not possible in the camera. Thermal imaging uses specialized sensors. The other is an image intensifier is a specialized product. Using near IR illumination is useful in situations like photographing closing at night when animals cause a chamber (National Geographic has some photos of this type). Near infrared light is not working as well as specialized equipment due to limited coverage of the infrared source. It is possible who needs to get his camera instead of seeing in the near IR spectrum (removal of an optical filter). You'll have to experiment to see how sensitive the camera is IR close.
