Digital Camera Image Sensor
A digital camera is basically a digital device that enables images to be captured. Digital camera images are stored electronically instead of on film. This process involves converting light into electric charges, and then translating this back into the image seen through digital camera LCD. Although the digital camera is a recent addition to the photography world, the concept of the possibility of a digital camera was launched in the decade 1950.
The initial concept of the digital camera is closely linked to television technology. It started with digital photography images recorded on scanners and in the form of digital video signals. In 1951 broadcasting companies were recording images into electrical impulses and tape Magnetic their television cameras, and this paved the way for digital camera technology to begin with. In 1956, the electrical impulse recordings were common practice in film and camera manufacturers began to dream of a digital camera device.
The first record of a patent for a type of digital camera in 1972 when Texas Instruments patented a camera that does not require film. The first megapixel sensor was invented in 1986. It contained 1.4 million pixels and is suitable for a camera image digital measuring 5x7 inches.
